While walking, suddenly discovered Vu Van Khanh (39 years old) and Nguyen Xuan Nam (33 years old) living in the same village with Tai using a hacksaw to cut a tree that had been sawed down.

Seeing that these two people violated the law on forest product exploitation, Tai quickly used a mobile phone to record a video of Khanh and Nam sawing wood.

When Tai was filming a video, he was discovered by Khanh and went to curse Tai, and at the same time Khanh waved his hand and punched Tai in the face. Immediately, Tai picked up a machete nearby and then chased and slashed Khanh’s head and back twice. Seeing that, Nam ran to intervene and took the machete from Tai’s hand.

After cutting Khanh finished, Tai continued to go to search for wild orchids, leaving the victim with his friends to stay. Khanh was taken to the emergency hospital with an injury rate of 24%.

At the trial, the defendant Tai confessed all of his crimes. Based on the aggravating and mitigating circumstances, the jury sentenced Do Van Tai to 8 years in prison for the crime of “murder”.

As for Nam and Khanh, the police investigation determined that Khanh and Nam had engaged in illegal forest product exploitation, but the behavior did not have enough elements to constitute a crime, so they transferred the case file and mourned it. animals to the Forest Protection Department of Krong Bong district for processing.
