The FIVB Volleyball Nations League brings together 16 male and 16 female teams topping the world rankings with a very special competition format.
According to statistics, the FIVB Volleyball Nations League is currently the volleyball tournament with the highest prize money in the world. In the preliminary round, the winning team is awarded 9,000 USD, the losing team is 4,000 USD. The championship team gets 1,000,000 USD, the runner-up gets 500,000 USD and the third place team gets 300,000 USD. The best athlete will receive a prize of 30,000 USD. The names in the best team will receive 10,000 USD/person.

The matches in this season’s FIVB Nations League women’s tournament will take place in 6 countries: the US, Turkey, Brazil, the Philippines, Canada, and Bulgaria. The men’s tournament will be played in Brazil, Canada Philippines, Bulgaria, Japan, Poland and Italy, respectively. 16 teams are divided into 2 groups according to different weeks, helping fans to see a lot of confrontations between big teams right from the preliminary round.
As planned, the first week of the FIVB Volleyball Nations League women’s tournament will take place in the US and Turkey. Table 1 includes Brazil, Canada, Dominican Republic, Germany, Japan, Poland, Korea and the host USA. Group 2 includes teams from Belgium, China, Italy, the Netherlands, Bulgaria, Serbia, Thailand and host Turkey. The first week, the teams will play from May 31 to June 5.

The second week, the tournament takes place from June 14 to June 19. The third competition week starts from June 28 and ends on July 3. The final round will take place from July 13 to July 17.
Meanwhile, the first week of competition of the men’s FIVB Nations League took place in Brazil and Canada. Table 1 includes Australia, China, Iran, Japan, the Netherlands, Slovenia, the US and the host Brazil. Group 2 includes Bulgaria, Argentina, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Serbia and host Canada.
The first week of the tournament takes place from June 7 to June 12. The second week from June 21 to June 26. Week 3 starts from July 5 and ends on July 10. The final round will take place from July 21 to July 24.

From June 1, 2022, VTC Radio acquired the right to broadcast the matches of the FIVB Volleyball Nations League – World National Team Championship on channel VTC3. VTC has the broadcasting rights for 3 consecutive seasons (2022-2023-2024). The matches of the 2022 season will take place from May 31, 2022 to July 17, 2022 (for women’s volleyball tournament) and from June 7, 2022 to July 24, 2022 (for women’s volleyball tournament) men’s volleyball tournament).
