Zehra Gunes – American woman with ‘terrible’ height of Turkish volleyball team

Zehra Gunes was born on 7/7/1999 in Kartal, Istanbul, Turkey. She is considered one of the brightest stars of the Turkish women’s volleyball team thanks to her beautiful appearance and 1m98 height.

Zehra Gunes began to be noticed at the 2015 U18 world volleyball tournament organized by FIVB. She made a great contribution to the achievement of taking 4th place overall of the Turkish women’s U18 team and was honored as the best middleman in the tournament. Gunes’ achievements helped her get on the list of Turkey volleyball team for the 2016 World Grand Prix – the precursor to today’s FIVB Nations League women’s tournament.

In the following years, Gunes continued to prove her talent when she won the title of best middle athlete at the 2017 U20 world championship. In the same year, she was called up directly to the Turkey U23 team. and won the world championship. In 2018, Zehra Gunes was called up to the Turkish volleyball team at the age of 18. She is now one of the mainstays of the team.

At the club level, Zehra Gunes is a member of Vakifbank Istanbul – the team that dominates the Turkish women’s volleyball championship for 4 consecutive seasons, in addition to the championship. Champions League Women’s volleyball season 2017/18.

Not only having talent on the field, Zehra Gunes is also famous for her lovely face, healthy figure and eye-catching fashion sense. In real life, Gunes prefers clothes with simple motifs but still respects his body beauties. Her Instagram page currently has 2.1 million followers.

At the first week of the FIVB Volleyball Nations League 2022, the Turkish women’s volleyball team played at the home stadium of Ankara. In the opening match, Zhera Gunes and her teammates defeated Italy after 3 sets with the scores 25-20, 25-19 and 25-19, in which the 22-year-old girl scored 10 points.
