After many changes of hands, Elvis Presley’s unique diamond-encrusted gold Ebel watch is for sale

Designed by Swiss watch manufacturer Ebel, this 14K gold watch is unique and stands out among the Rolex and Omega owned by the music legend. The watch has a serrated strap, bezel set with 26 round white diamonds. The dial has blue detailing that contrasts with the gold background.

Follow Robb Report, the late singer gave the watch to his close friend, singer JD Sumner. Presley is known to regularly give family, friends and co-workers great gifts, but this is possibly the most luxurious item he has ever given.

The diamond-encrusted watch is still in good condition even after all these years. MS Rau listed the watch for $495,000. New Orleans-based antique shop MS Rau found the watch in the late 2000s after it changed hands only twice. “In the 1980s, J.D. Sumner sold all of the jewelry and memorabilia gifted to Mike Moon by Elvis, an avid fan and collector of Elvis supplies,” said the store owner. After Elvis’s death in 1977, Sumner encouraged Moon to open the first Elvis Presley Museum in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, and he did in 1979. The watch remained in the museum’s collection until 2018. and then sold to a private collector that MS Rau bought.
