Cuong Dam does a fashion show in the cellar

The stage is staged in a square, minimalist and modern layout, focusing on light and sound, to highlight the designs. Cuong Dam exhibits art installations combined with his sketches. The show is limited to 100 guests with 35 models performing. Model Phuong Oanh – currently in Milan, Italy – will return to the catwalk country.

Collection Inflowing includes 42 futuristic designs, blending futuristic and traditional values. Simple images such as rice grains, bundles of rice, hats, camisoles, and four-piece dresses are developed, transformed, and put into the sustainable and high-end fashion line.

Inspired by the concept of yin – yang in Asian culture, the designs exploit contrasting materials: rough leather with organza, soft silk. Hot and cold colors in Hang Trong paintings are used to increase visual stimulation. To make it more impressive, the designer also applied lacquer techniques and hand-knitted crochet on hats, bibs, bib skirts..

In addition to introducing costumes, Cuong Dam organizes a fashion exhibition combining art from June 13 to 19. The event showcases unique materials and designs, recreating the creation process of the collection Inflowing.

Cuong Dam born in 1990 in Hanoi, known for his collection Warriors in Yoshiwara in the show Utopia – Utopia 2020. In 2013, after graduating from the University of Architecture, he pursued his passion for fashion while studying at London Academy of Design and Fashion.

Cuong Dam’s designs are bold in architecture through shaping, aiming for a luxurious style that can be worn in many situations.
