According to Mr. Son, the tuition fee framework for general education for the school year 2022-2023 has been specified in Decree 81.
From the following years onwards, the local People’s Councils shall base themselves on the specific situation of socio-economic conditions, the rate of increase of the consumer price index, the characteristics of the locality, the actual ability of the people to contribute… to decide on the tuition fee bracket or locally applicable school level for preschool and general education; this level is regulated not to exceed 7.5%/year.
