The youngest player U23 Vietnam is eager to fight Lee Kang In
Nguyen Van Truong is looking forward to confronting star Lee Kang In of Korea U23 at the 2022 AFC U23 Championship.
U23 Vietnam had the only training session to prepare for the match against U23 Korea on the afternoon of June 4. Despite facing a very strong opponent, Coach Gong Oh Kyun’s students were not afraid.
Nguyen Van Truong said he is eager to compete with star Lee Kang In of Korea U23. The youngest player U23 Vietnam said: “For Korea U23, I only know Lee Kang In, because he plays in La Liga for Valencia and Real Mallorca. His individual technique and vision are very good, so me and the team have to be careful.
The eagerness to face the brightest star of Korea is of course there, but as long as you keep your mind at ease, you can go to the battle.”
The player who is not yet 19 years old revealed that during every hour of preparing to eat, the teachers prepared a video about the Korean opponent for the whole team to eat while watching. On June 5, U23 Vietnam had a tactical meeting and carefully analyzed the Korean U23 opponent.
Van Truong affirmed that U23 Vietnam is gradually getting used to the way coach Gong Oh Kyun plays. The whole team also has the best physical preparation after the draw with Thailand.
The match U23 Vietnam vs U23 Korea in the second round of Group C AFC U23 Championship 2022 taking place at 6pm (local time – 8pm Vietnam time) on June 5 at Lokomotiv Stadium, Uzbekistan.
