Tomorrow, the whole team will have a tactical meeting and analyze the opponent,” Van Truong said. “The preparation is done by the priests. The strategy was set by the teachers and I followed it. After the first game, we integrated well, but it takes time to get to know each other better, to understand the coach’s tactics better.”

The 18-year-old midfielder said that U23 Vietnam has enough physical strength to play fair in 90 minutes with U23 Korea. Assessing individual players, Van Truong only knows Lee Kang-in, a Korean football prodigy. He said: “I only know Lee Kang-in in Korea U23 because he played in La Liga for Valencia and now Real Mallorca, so I have seen it. His individual technique and vision are very good, so me and the team have to be careful.”

When asked if he had prepared anything against Lee Kang-in, Van Truong frankly said: “Of course. I put my mind at ease, let’s just fight.”
