What does the newly launched Mercedes-Benz GLC 2023 change?

The overall car is not too different, but many design lines have been refined, bringing more dynamism and youthfulness to the car.

Prominent at the front is the new High Performance LED headlight cluster with a positioning LED array moved up. The grille and air vents below are also redesigned.

Compared to before, the GLC-Class 2023 is 60.95 mm longer, 1,890 mm wide, 4 mm lower while the wheelbase has increased by 15 mm, bringing the total to 2,888 mm. The car is sold with a variety of wheel designs ranging in size from 18 inches to 20 inches.

The overall bodywork and rear remains the same. The biggest difference at the rear is the taillight cluster with the same design as the new generation Mercedes-Benz models.

Inside, the cockpit of the GLC-Class 2023 is somewhat similar to the new generation C-Class. The interior of the GLC 2023 creates a highlight with a vertical 11.9-inch central screen that integrates the 2nd generation MBUX operating system and a 12.3-inch electronic steering wheel.

In addition, the car also comes with equipment such as heated seats, wireless charging, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay wireless connectivity, etc., depending on the version, there will be different interior options.

The Mercedes-Benz GLC 2023 also includes a support package with features such as: Active Parking Assist with a 360-degree camera system, adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition support and an optional package. Others add full-time vehicle monitoring.

GLC 2023 launched in the US with two versions, GLC 300 (rear-wheel drive) and GLC 300 4Matic (four-wheel drive). Both are equipped with a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine with a capacity of 258 horsepower and 399 Nm of torque. Comes with a 48 Volt mild-hybrid hybrid system that adds 23 hp and 200 Nm of torque when needed.

Power is transmitted to the wheels through a 9-speed gearbox. According to test results, GLC 2023 accelerates from 0-96 km / h in 6.2 seconds. Top speed is limited to 209 km/h.

The price of the car has not been announced, the first new generation Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class is expected to be on the market later this year.
