Beijing (China) has lifted many restrictive measures related to the Covid-19 epidemic

Accordingly, from June 6, restaurants and eateries can serve customers on the spot, while public passenger transport activities are also restored to normal. Beijing residents are required to provide a certificate of negative result for SARS-CoV-2 virus within 72 hours when entering a restaurant, cafeteria, public place or when taking public transport.

Other public venues such as libraries, museums, cinemas and gyms are also allowed to reopen, with total visitor traffic not exceeding 75% of maximum capacity.

Besides, from June 13, Beijing people will be allowed to go to work directly, and schools will also be reopened.

The new regulations take effect in all districts of Beijing, except for Fengtai District and some parts of Changping District.

Regarding the Covid-19 epidemic situation, according to the National Health Commission of China (NHC), in the past 24 hours, mainland China recorded 162 new cases – of which 56 had symptoms and 106 cases. asymptomatic, down from 171 cases in the previous 24 hours. The number of deaths from Covid-19 remained unchanged at 5,226.
