Coach Nguyen Thi Nhung bid farewell to the Vietnamese shooting team after 16 years

The “steel woman” of Vietnam’s shooting has officially retired and will not undertake training in the Vietnamese shooting team since the 31st SEA Games.

Coach Nguyen Thi Nhung’s career is associated with outstanding achievements and memorable milestones in Vietnamese shooting. She was also the first female coach of the national team and helped bring home the first gold medal in the Olympic arena. This is also the most impressive and unforgettable moment in the female coach’s career when sniper Hoang Xuan Vinh won the gold medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics.

Before parting, coach Nguyen Thi Nhung also transferred the coaching work to coaches Hoang Xuan Vinh and Tran Quoc Cuong.
