North Korea fires eight missiles into the sea in a row

SEOUL, June 5 (Yonhap) — North Korea fired eight short-range ballistic missiles into the sea east of the country this morning from at least two locations, the South Korean military said.

The missile launch took place after the US and South Korean ships had just finished a three-day exercise in international waters, off the Japanese island of Okinawa. The rockets were launched from the Sunan area.
