President Biden was evacuated to a safe place after an unknown plane entered

President Biden was taken to a safe location around 1pm on June 4 (local time) after a private plane “wrongly” flew into a security area near his vacation home on the beach. Rehoboth, Delaware, US Secret Service said.

“The aircraft was immediately escorted out of the restricted area,” the agency added.

The reported safe location was a nearby fire station. Biden’s motorcade was seen going to the fire station, then an SUV took the president inside. Traffic was suspended for more than 20 minutes while Secret Service agents cleared the area and investigated the possible threat.

According to CBS News reporter Bo Erickson, he saw two military jets flying low over the beach after the unauthorized plane was discovered. A local resident told Erickson she saw a small white plane fly near Mr Biden’s beach house around 12:45pm. Two military jets appeared over Rehoboth Beach minutes later.

“Preliminary investigation revealed that the pilot did not turn on the appropriate communication radio channel, was not following NOTAMS (Notice to Airline Officers) and was not following published flight instructions,” the Secret Service said. . “The US Secret Service will interview this pilot.”

Biden’s motorcade returned to the beach house after investigators concluded there was no ongoing security threat.

The US President returned to his home in Delaware on June 2 and will return to the White House on June 5. The beach house was bought by his family in 2017 for $2.7 million and is used as a family vacation place every holiday or weekend.
