Proposing 600 billion to build a highway connecting Da Nang – Quang Ngai

According to the leader of Quang Ngai province, the expressway has brought into play its functions, but it needs routes to connect with localities in the province to promote efficiency. In which, National Highway 24B intersects the Da Nang – Quang Ngai Expressway in Tinh Ha Commune (Son Tinh District), helping to connect the expressway with Quang Ngai City and the western part of the province.
However, at present, National Highway 24B is only invested to expand nearly 12 km, the remaining nearly 6 km have not been upgraded. Some sections of the road are 5-7 m wide, degraded and damaged. When the Da Nang – Quang Ngai Expressway is exploited, the traffic volume on the route increases, frequent accidents and congestion. The route is also approved for investment by the Prime Minister.
Therefore, Quang Ngai requested VEC to report to the State Capital Management Committee at enterprises for permission to use the residual capital of the Da Nang – Quang Ngai expressway project to invest in upgrading and expanding National Highway 24B. .
National Highway 24B is 18 km long and runs in the territory of Quang Ngai city, Son Tinh district, Binh Son. The starting point of the route is at Quan Com slope, Quang Ngai city, the end point is at Sa Ky port, Binh Son district.
