Ukraine accuses Russia of gathering troops to take control of Sievierodonetsk

Luhansk region governor Serhiy Gaidai said today that Russia is using all available forces to try to gain control of the city of Sievierodonetsk.

US and EU “run out of new measures to contain Russia”

The President of the Russian State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin said today that the US and the European Union (EU) have no new measures to inhibit the development of Russia.

Ukraine begins to rebuild the country

Accordingly, at the first stage of recovery, Ukraine will assess the damage caused by the conflict, prepare technical documents for reconstruction projects and carry out repairs of important facilities.

Mr. Shmyhal stressed that it is the government’s duty to restore damaged critical facilities by next autumn. According to the Ukravtodor road administration, the conflict has destroyed about 300 bridges and 24,000km of roads in Ukraine.
