The Queen wishes her daughter Harry a happy birthday
Queen Elizabeth II sends birthday wishes to great-grandson Lilibet, daughter of Harry – Meghan, while the family is in the UK to celebrate the Platinum Anniversary.
“Happy one-year birthday to Lilibet”, the Twitter account of Queen Elizabeth II, also the account representing the British royal family, on June 4 sent birthday wishes to Harry’s youngest daughter and Meghan Markle.
The message was re-shared by Prince Charles and Princess Camilla, Prince William and Princess Kate on social media with similar wishes.
Harry and Meghan’s family has returned from the US to the UK to attend activities in Platinum Celebration, celebrating 70 years of the Queen’s reign. This is the first time Harry -Meghan has brought his youngest daughter to the UK, after she was born in California last year. Lilibet was named after the Queen’s childhood nickname.

Lilibet and her brother Archie, 3, have yet to appear in public in the UK. No pictures of Lilibet and Archie in the UK have been published in the media since they were brought back to the UK by their parents.
However, British media have suggested that Queen Elizabeth, 96, may have met Lilibet at Windsor Castle. Harry and Meghan’s family is staying at Frogmore mansion, about 10 minutes walk from Windsor Castle.
Omid Scobie, commentator on British royal activities, said the Harry family wanted to keep the first meeting between the Queen and great-great-grandson Lilibet private. “We all know how much the Queen has been looking forward to this meeting. They have been divided by the pandemic and this is the first real meeting,” he told the BBC.
The Queen on June 2 attended the first event in 4 days Platinum Celebrationwith the parade Military Flag Procession watched by tens of thousands of people in London. Buckingham Palace a day later announced the Queen was unwell and not attending the next event.
The ceremony is a rare event for the Queen to appear in public recently, after the doctor asked her to cut most royal activities due to a number of health problems. Queen Elizabeth has had difficulty walking and health effects after contracting Covid-19.
This could be the last major celebration of the Queen’s reign. The people of this country hold many street parties, concerts and parades until the end of June 5.
