In 2021, Vietnam’s export of CBU mobile phones reached a turnover of over 33.1 billion USD, up 14.9% compared to 2020, accounting for 57.6% of the export turnover of the commodity group. Export of phone components and accessories reached over 24.4 billion USD, up 9.1% compared to 2020, accounting for 42.4%.
However, exporting phones and components faces some difficulties due to supply chain problems. The negative impact of the epidemic led to a global shortage of semiconductor chips. This has affected the production of phones in general and products using chips in particular.
