Step 1: Declare your profile

Step 2: Order of processing online application
After fully declaring information, the software system automatically checks, compares and authenticates the information of household members who have the same permanent residence registration or the same temporary residence registration with the National Database. About Population:
In case the software system verifies information that members of the National Population Database do not have the same permanent residence registration or the same temporary residence registration, a notice will be sent to the declarant:
“Members who declare that they do not have the same permanent address or the same temporary residence address in the National Population Database, please contact the local police office directly for updated instructions. , adjust the information of the residence of the members”.
In case the software system verifies information that members of the National Database of Population have the same permanent residence registration or the same temporary residence registration, it will automatically:
+ Verify the health insurance participation status of each member in the Vietnam Social Insurance Database;
+ Determine the exact amount to be paid by each household member in order of reduction of the household health insurance premium (apply according to current regulations of the Law on Health Insurance) to notify the declarant of the required amount. submitted online on the Public Service Portal.
Note: there is a detailed amount of each health insurance card number corresponding to the renewal time of each card.
Step 3: Pay online on the Public Service Portal
The declarant makes online payment on the notice of payable amount according to the instructions.
Step 4: Allocate money in the Social Insurance Agency System
After receiving the declarant’s payment from the banking system, the software system automatically performs the following tasks: Compare the bank’s money transfer documents with the card renewal information;
Automatically allocate the amount, automatically update the collection, automatically renew the use value of the health insurance card at the social insurance agency (where the insured person participates before renewing).
Step 5: Return the results to the declarant
After successful payment, the software system notifies the declarant:
Receipt of payment.
Announce the successful renewal result of each participant: “Participants continue to use the health insurance card (issued) to seek medical care from the date of receipt of this notice”.
The household health insurance premium in 2022 is regulated as follows: The first person pays 4.5% of the base salary; the second, third and fourth persons shall pay 70%, 60%, and 50% of the premiums of the first person, respectively; from the fifth person onward, pay 40% of the contribution rate of the first person.
Currently, the base salary is 1,490,000 VND/month.
