In fact, National Highway 51 with a length of more than 80km is almost a “unique” road connecting the southern and western provinces with Ba Ria – Vung Tau. Ms. Yen said, the Bien Hoa – Vung Tau expressway project has a total length of about 53.7km through the two provinces of Dong Nai and Ba Ria – Vung Tau. Since 2009, the Bien Hoa – Vung Tau Expressway Construction Investment Project has been assigned by the Ministry of Transport BVEC (Bien Hoa – Vung Tau Expressway Development Joint Stock Company) to research and invest in the form of a public-private partnership. , but over the past 10 years, the project has not been able to start.
Facing urgent traffic needs, the two provinces of Ba Ria – Vung Tau and Dong Nai have agreed to report to the Ministry of Transport, submit to the Prime Minister and be approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 1454 dated September 1, 2021. .
