The bronze pendant was found by amateur “treasure hunter” Wendy Thompson on a farm in Higham, Kent. It was shaped like a penis, extremely elaborately crafted.

The British Museum describes the pendant, measuring 3cm long, weighing 9.7g, as a body part crafted to perfection. It has just been listed as a national treasure 18 months after it was discovered.

According to the examination results, the pendant is dated from about AD 43 to 410, the period when England was under Roman occupation. This is a treasure belonging to the Romans.
