Continuous shooting in 3 cities, dozens of casualties

In the latest shooting at dawn on June 5 in Saginaw City, Machigan state, 3 people were killed and 2 injured. Unlike the two previous incidents that affected many bystanders, all five victims in Michigan were directly involved in the shooting activity.

By page MLive.com, Police arrived on the scene after receiving a report of a shooting at about 2:30 a.m. in Saginaw, about 160 kilometers northeast of Detroit. Two men were killed at the scene. A woman died later at the hospital from her injuries. Two other men were also hit. They arrived at the hospital by private vehicle and are being treated for their injuries, Saginaw police said.

This is just one of three shootings that took place in the US on the evening of 4-6 and the morning of 5-6.

The shooting in Chattanooga, Tennessee, occurred on the night of 4-6 near a bar, killing 3 people and injuring 14 others.

Similarly, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, a fight between two men escalated into a gun battle in a crowded area, leaving three people dead and 12 injured.

Police have not yet arrested any suspects in the three shootings mentioned above.

These shootings take place in the context of people in three other areas still in shock because of the bloody shootings, which occurred not long ago, killing 10 people in New York state, 21 in Texas state. and 4 in the state of Oklahoma.

Activists are pressing the US government to take tougher measures to tackle gun violence.

According to the non-profit organization Gun Violence Archive (GVA), there have been at least 240 mass shootings in the US this year so far this year. Shooting is defined by the GVA as an event in which at least four people are shot, including the shooter.
