“Initially, I asked the students to buy the product in their name. The money I get, I bring outside to do business. I “eat” the profit difference, monthly pay interest to the bank”, Truong Quang Anh Duc testified at the investigation agency.

At first, Germany still paid money to the bank. However, in July 2021, the outbreak caused Germany to lose income, so it could no longer pay.

According to the police, Germany has taken advantage of the consumer lending policy of credit institutions to make profit. After students sign the loan documents, Duc takes the products to resell, then uses a small amount of money to pay the students.

“We will continue to verify, collect documents, work with financial lenders to determine the specific amount of money that the German suspect has appropriated,” the leader of Ninh Kieu District said and said. is expanding the investigation of the case.

Before that, hundreds of university and college students in Can Tho city suddenly had a debt of 10 to 60 million VND because a person named Truong Quang Anh Duc asked him to buy a mobile phone in installments. , laptop with simple procedures.

Duc instructs students to make records to buy products from the store and receive a salary of 400,000 VND.

Duc promises the students that the installment application is approved, after 2 days it will be canceled on the system, students just stand out to sign the loan for installment purchase, no deposit or payment of any costs. After the fraud, Duc fled the locality.

“We are paying monthly installments to the lending institutions. But the nature of the debtor is Mr. Duc, we were just tricked into signing a loan to buy installments. Every day, we receive a series of threatening and abusive messages forcing us to pay our debt, making us very confused and afraid, causing a very serious impact on our psychology and daily life. students present in the application to the police agency.
