As a tribute to the legendary Virgil Abloh, Louis Vuitton decided to present Virgil Abloh’s final collection for Fall/Winter 2022 for the second time in Bangkok.

Before the collection was launched in Paris, the Bangkok spin-off show revealed nine brand new looks that weren’t released in Paris.

Similar to the first show, the show was conceived in a Louis Dreamhouse, a surreal and fantasy-like sphere where the house is built upside down, with instruments suspended from the ceiling. , hovering around the planet and a giant sun orbiting.

The dreamy and ethereal collection goes hand in hand with the collection’s playful spirit. Models are seen walking through circular segments, creating the illusion of circulation. This show covers many aspects of Abloh’s iconic references, from cartoon characters to music inspired by Abloh’s youthful passion.

This collection marks the eighth and final installment of Men’s Artistic Director. Accompanying the show was a prelude — I Dream of You, as a tribute to Abloh’s Boyhood Ideology: seeing the world through the wild eyes of a child.

This core ideology is expressed through the lens of director Sivaroj Kongsakul, where the story follows an 11-year-old boy’s formative experience in rural Thailand, a childhood memory of the filmmaker. . Essentially, childhood ideas are deeply rooted in the collection’s theme of childhood imagination, breaking down the walls of dress code tied to social archetypes.
