Ministry of Science and Technology awarded 200 million VND to support the “Godmother” program

Recently, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Science and Technology in Hanoi, the Association of Female Intellectuals of the Ministry of Science and Technology (Science and Technology) held a ceremony to donate 200 million VND for the program “Godmother”, taking care of children. , taking care of orphans affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

This is a program launched by the Vietnam Women’s Union with a profound humanitarian meaning to support and care for orphans and children in extremely difficult circumstances affected by the Covid-19 epidemic. 19 in our country.

Also at the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Huong – Vice President of Vietnam Women’s Union shared: “Women’s unions at all levels have sponsored more than 5,500 orphans, including more than 1,600 orphans after the Covid-19 pandemic. The gift of the Knowledge Women’s Association of the Ministry of Science and Technology is really meaningful to them. In the coming time, Ms. Minh Huong hopes to have more activities to connect, exchange and visit between branches so that she can help and support more difficult situations.

It is known that with the spirit of solidarity and mutual love, units and individuals under the Ministry of Science and Technology enthusiastically responded and contributed a total amount of VND 200 million.
