Miss South Vietnam Hai Yen is beautiful and gentle at the event

Miss South Vietnam is for candidates from 18 to 28 years old, 1.6m tall or more, living, working or studying in 7 provinces and cities in the Southeast region and 13 provinces and cities in the Southwest region.

The top 50 semi-finalists will travel through 7 provinces in the Southeast region and the top 30 finalists will continue their journey to 13 provinces in the Southwest region. In each province, there are separate activities for candidates to experience tourism and culture while cultivating necessary skills.

The first Miss Southern season was held in 2017 with the highest award belonging to Nguyen Thi Hai Yen. At that time, Hai Yen was a first-year student at Vo Truong Toan University.

Recently, after getting married and giving birth, Hai Yen persisted in her volunteer work and cultivated her business ability to help her husband’s work.

Currently, she is living a happy life with her husband and 17-month-old son.

When participating in the first season of the Miss South Vietnam contest, Hai Yen was very surprised because she was a first-year student, everything was strange and inexperienced with the stage. But thanks to her hard work and luck, she improved and won the final prize.

Hai Yen wants to remind the contestants this year, try to practice. The plus point for candidates is confidence and always being yourself.

It is expected that the preliminary round of Miss Southern 2022 will take place in July, the semi-finals in August and the final round in September. The finale will take place in Can Tho city.
