Overcoming Ukraine, Wales team won tickets to the World Cup 2022

There have been 12 places for the 2022 World Cup in Europe to be determined. The 13th place of this area was decided this morning in Vietnam time, after the match in Cardiff between the two teams of Wales and Ukraine.

The Ukrainian players were more proactive and took the first chances of the game, mostly from long range. Heavy rain has greatly affected the quality of the match. From a free kick, Andriy Yarmolenko on the away side fumbled for an own goal, giving Wales an advantage in the middle of the first half. Then, Oleksandr Zinchenko fell in the penalty area but did not have a penalty for Ukraine.

In the second half, the speed of the match was pushed up very high with many attractive tit-for-tat situations. Both teams had their own chances and unfortunately missed them. The last minutes were the time when the Ukrainian team put all their strength into the attack. However, goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey of the Wales national team is still playing focused.
