The patient recounted that while watching others mow the lawn with a machine, suddenly a stone hit his left eye, then the patient appeared to be in severe pain and could not see anything, so he was hospitalized.

Ophthalmologists said that this is a case of a patient with a severe left eye injury caused by a stone shot from a lawn mower. Immediately, the patient was performed emergency surgery. It is expected that the patient will have surgery in two when the condition is stable again.

Doctor Le Tan Sang, eye surgeon, said: This is a serious and complicated case of trauma. We performed emergency surgery to restore corneal anatomical structure (single phase) to avoid purulent endophthalmitis. The broken lens part will be operated on (second time) some time after the corneal damage has stabilized.
