Blockchain programming or Web 3.0 is a new trend.

Starting with the goal of opening the door to the potential Web 3.0 world for the Vietnamese developer community, “Coding Camp – Breaking Web 3.0 with Solana” quickly gained wide support. The contest is highly appreciated by the technology community because of the “learn – to – earn” form, which gives participants the opportunity to expand their knowledge, and at the same time try their hand at a professionally organized competition.

Starting from April 15, 2022, after only 10 days of opening the registration portal, the organizers received 700 entries from programmers across the country. After the screening round, the 100 best candidates were selected to attend the Web 3.0 workshop series. This is a training activity, providing background knowledge for candidates to have the best preparation for their products.

After a series of workshops, 24 projects related to the fields of blockchain, payment, gaming… participated in presentations on Demo Day. As a result, the jury selected 3 excellent projects to award prizes (First Prize worth 15,000 USD, Second Prize worth 10,000 USD, III Prize worth 5,000 USD). At the same time, the 10 best performing individual programmers were also selected for special scholarships and 5 tours of the Solana Foundation headquarters in San Francisco.

3 male programmers of the team won the first prize worth 15,000 USD.

Specifically, the first prize was the MaiusPay project of members Pham Minh Tuan, Nguyen Quang Huy and Hoang Son Tung. MaiusPay is a solution to help merchants simplify payments, similar to Stripe or PayPal, but using Solana and focusing on sign-up flow and higher personal security.

The second prize is The Astroverse project, which uses NFT technology to help astrologers interact with customers. The third prize is the SolPlay project – an NFT rental platform that helps connect NFT owners and those who need to experience NFT.

According to the organizers, instead of developing a product and then trying to convince users to use it, the teams chose to make the product that customers really need. Many projects and candidates are new to blockchain for the first time but have a clear development orientation after absorbing knowledge at Sen Academy – a series of lectures on blockchain programming on Solana. Thanks to that, your ideas have become more practical, attractive and impressive.

With the desire to disseminate knowledge about Web 3.0, the program also conducts a livestream to share workshops and free documents to the Vietnamese developer community. At the same time, the program also introduces the Solana Cookbook – a resource aggregator site for programmers, to provide concepts and reference materials for building applications on the Solana platform.

After the success of “Coding Camp – Breaking Web 3.0 with Solana”, the organizers expressed their belief in the prospect of world-class technology playgrounds in Vietnam, as well as the long-term development potential of the company. Vietnamese technology.
