The defendants being prosecuted include: Tong Ton Khanh (SN 1967), Luong Van Dao (SN 1984), Luong Van Diep (SN 1988), Y Djon Byă (SN 1983), Nguyen Tan Tay (SN 1979) living in the same city. Krong Pak district.

According to the results of the investigation, at about 19:00 on December 11, 2019, Khanh hired Diep to cut down the cassava tree in the area of ​​Khanh’s coffee lot contracted with Thang Loi Coffee Joint Stock Company (hereinafter referred to as Thang Loi Company). ), and then transported wood to the football field of Toan Thang village (Hoa Dong commune, Krong Pak district) for 1 million VND/day.

After hearing about the job, Diep immediately agreed and hired Luong Van Dao (Diep’s brother) and Y Djon Byă to work together.

Around 7:30 am on 12/12/2019, all 3 went to the coffee lot in Toan Thang village. Here, Khanh said that Diep sawed down all 29 black cassava trees in the area of ​​the windbreak forest belt adjacent to the ditch, outside Khanh’s coffee lot.

At about 9 a.m. on the same day, Thang Loi Company discovered that Diep’s group had cut down 6 black cassava trees, so they reported it to the Krong Pak district police.

Immediately after that, the Krong Pak district police coordinated with the district People’s Procuracy to examine the scene to solve the case according to regulations.

However, the investigation of the scene was hindered by Khanh, Dao and Y Djon. Khanh said that it was his own cage and did not allow the task force to perform the task. At this time, Dao continued to cut down 3 more dandelions and Y Djon also sawed down 2 other trees.

At about 12 o’clock on the same day, Vo Giang Nam (born in 1980, residing in Hoa Dong commune, Krong Pak district) also came to the scene and cut down 2 other cassava trees.

Around 15:00 on the same day, Diep drove a plow with Dao and Y Djon to the scene to pull 4 logs on to the trunk of the truck and then drove it away despite being stopped by the leaders of Thang Loi Company.

During this process, a soldier from the Krong Pak District Police Department climbed onto the tractor truck and asked to stop, but Dao still drove the truck to transport timber to the football field of Toan Thang village.

Seeing the tense situation, the Police of Dak Lak province sent 300 officers and soldiers to ensure security and order and at the same time ensure the scene examination.

However, around 5 pm on the same day, when the car of the Forest Protection Department of Dak Lak province was dispatched to the scene on duty, West and some other subjects continued to obstruct the vehicle from entering. After a while, by professional measures of the police, order was restored.

According to the indictment of the Procuracy, a total of 13 pine trees were cut down by the aforementioned subjects and were detained.
