In addition, the local government of Muong Ly commune also said that landslides occurred not only in Un and Xa Lung villages but also appeared in Xi Lo and Trung Tien villages… and some rice and crops were buried.

Rainfall is calculated from 7:00 p.m. on June 6 to 8:00 a.m. on June 7 such as: Son La 196.8mm, Tan Lac (Hoa Binh) 138.6mm, Mai Chau (Hoa Binh) 126mm, Kim Bang (Ha Nam) 125.4mm, Quan Hoa (Thanh Hoa) 167mm,… Forecast for today (June 7), in Dien Bien, Lai Chau, Son La, Hoa Binh, Southern Delta and Thanh Hoa areas with moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms , there are places with very heavy rain with common rainfall of 20-50mm, in some places over 70mm; other areas of the North have showers and thunderstorms, with heavy rain locally.

From tonight to the morning of June 9, in the mountains and midlands of the North, there will be moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, there are places with very heavy rain with common rainfall of 50-100mm, in some places over 120mm; the Northern Delta and Thanh Hoa have showers and thunderstorms, with heavy rain locally (the time when thunderstorms occur is concentrated from evening to night).

This large-scale rain is likely to last until about June 11-12, heavy rain is concentrated in the mountains and midlands of the North. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong winds. There is a high to very high risk of flash floods and landslides in the northern mountainous provinces and inundation in low-lying and low-lying areas.
