Italy lifts all travel restrictions related to COVID-19

This past week, the Tourism Commission in Italy issued a notice allowing all visitors to visit the country without presenting test sheets, proof of vaccinations and recovering from COVID-19. These regulations take effect from June 1, making Italy the next country in Europe to lift all pandemic-related restrictions after the UK, Sweden, Iceland and Ireland.

The total repeal comes a month after Italy stopped requiring travelers to present proof of vaccination when visiting public places such as restaurants, museums, bars, etc. in the context that the summer and autumn tourism market is gradually becoming bustling.
