At the meeting on June 4, 2022, after considering the proposal of the Central Organization Committee on the assignment of officials to manage the activities of the Hanoi People’s Committee, the Politburo agreed to assign Mr. Le Hong Son, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee, to temporarily manage the activities of the Hanoi People’s Committee from June 7, 2022.

To ensure leadership, direction and operation of the Party Personnel Committee and the City People’s Committee Hanoi; The Standing Board of the Hanoi City Party Committee has considered and agreed to assign Mr. Le Hong Son, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Personnel Committee of the City People’s Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee, in charge. managing the activities of the Party Committee of the City People’s Committee and the City People’s Committee until consolidating the title of Secretary of the Party Personnel Committee of the City People’s Committee for the 2021-2026 term and the Chairman of the City People’s Committee for the 2021-2026 term.

Mr. Le Hong Son was born in 1964, his hometown is Hoang Duc commune, Hoang Hoa district, Thanh Hoa province. Mr. Son has a Bachelor of Law qualification; Advanced Political Theory. Mr. Son is a member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee for the 2016-2021, 2021-2026 term. Before that, he was Deputy Minister of Justice.

On the afternoon of June 7, at the headquarters of the People’s Council – Hanoi People’s Committee, the 16th Hanoi People’s Council held its 6th meeting to consider and decide on personnel work under the competence of the City Council.

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of Local Government, at this meeting, the Hanoi People’s Council considered the report of the Chairman of the City People’s Council, 100% of the City Council’s delegates present voted to dismiss the Chairman of the People’s Committee Hanoi city, term XVI, term 2021-2026 for Mr. Chu Ngoc Anh according to regulations.

Then, 100% of the City Council deputies present voted to dismiss Mr. Chu Ngoc Anh from the office of the Hanoi People’s Council, term XVI, term 2021-2026 for violating the Party’s regulations and the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The State does not fully meet the standards of the People’s Council deputies.
