Struggling with a motorbike taxi driver, the young man took a knife to rob and received a bitter ending
On June 7, the police of Vinh Yen city, Vinh Phuc province issued a decision to prosecute and temporarily arrest defendant Nguyen Thanh Binh (SN 2005, in Lap Thach district) for robbery.
According to the investigative agency, on June 3, due to a debt of money, Nguyen Thanh Binh prepared a sharp knife to put in his pocket and then walked on Tran Phu Street, Vinh Yen City in search of “prey”.
On the way, the suspect asked people to show him where to find the motorbike taxi driver and was “taught” to find Mr. NVT (SN 1964). The suspect told Mr. T to drive him to a gas station in Thanh Van commune, Tam Duong district.
Without a doubt, Mr. T. agreed to drive a Honda SH Mode motorbike to carry the suspect to the above address for 50,000 VND. Going to the territory of Cham village (Dinh Trung commune, Vinh Yen city), Binh observed that this area had few people walking, few houses around, so he asked to stop the car. Immediately, Binh used a knife to the neck of the “motorbike taxi”.
Seeing that, Mr. T grabbed the blade and simultaneously shouted: “Robbery, robbery”. Taking advantage of the motorbike dumped on the street, the “motorbike taxi” driver struggled with the robber.
During the struggle with the suspect, Mr. T. snatched the knife and stabbed it in the back of the suspect. Injured, the suspect immediately ran away, but was arrested by the people in coordination with the police force.
Immediately after that, the police agency made a record, seized relevant evidence and brought the subject to the headquarters to work.
