Initial information at 17:50 on June 6, a passenger car with plate number 49B-010.72 was driven by driver Dinh Tai (SN 1973, residing in Da Lat City, Lam Dong) on Highway 27, when it reached the section through Khanh Pass. Le of Son Thai commune (Khanh Vinh district) suddenly caught on fire. At this time, there were more than 40 passengers on the bus.
Detecting the fire, the driver promptly removed all passengers from the vehicle, so there was no loss of life.
Immediately after receiving the news, the rescue forces quickly approached scene. By 6:50 pm on the same day, the fire was under control, but the passenger car was burned and damaged almost entirely.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by authorities.
