Colonel Pham Huu Tuan added that on May 31, the police agency of Canh Thuy commune (Yen Dung district, Bac Giang province) received a report from Ms. LTH in Hung Thinh village, Tu Mai commune (Yen Dung district). ) with the following content: On the morning of May 31, NTQA (14 years old – the daughter of Ms. H – currently living with her grandparents in Nhat village, Canh Thuy commune) asked permission to go to Canh Thuy Secondary School to summarize the year. school, but at noon the family did not see the child back, so he was very worried, split up to look for him, but he was nowhere to be found. Contacted Canh Thuy Secondary School, a teacher here said that he had seen some nieces, including QA.

Immediately after that, the QA family member immediately checked the camera at home and discovered that the QA boy had come home to get clothes but took the initiative to unplug the camera’s power to avoid detection. The cameras on the road did not clearly record the license plate to pick up the children, so QA’s family was extremely worried, so they reported to the police.

Upon receiving the information, the Canh Thuy Commune Police Department urgently verified and at the same time reported it to the Yen Dung District Police Department.

After receiving the information, by professional measures, the police force quickly determined that there were 4 nieces traveling on that bus, including: NTQA, ethnic minority and 14 years old in Binh Voi village, NTQN (13 years old, in Dong village and Canh Thuy commune) and HHL (15 years old, in Ninh Tien village, Tien Dung commune, Yen Dung district).

Next, the police agency and relatives tried to contact the children by phone, social networks, etc., but could not. Only HTL had contact with relatives and authorities, but intentionally said the exact location, travel route or wrong information, making it difficult for the investigation.

However, with professional measures and “elite” eyes, the police officers tracked down the 5-seater driver. According to this person’s testimony, the children rented a car to go to Nuoc Ngam bus station in Hanoi.

Receiving little information from the 5-seater driver, the Yen Dung District Public Security Agency and the soldiers of the Criminal Police Department of the Bac Giang Provincial Police, the working group immediately went to Nuoc Ngam bus station. Here, the police agency asked the bus station management board to cooperate, extract security cameras and check the cruise monitoring equipment on the vehicles.

Discover the path of 5 girls

Through checking and extracting the camera, the police agency discovered that 4 children got on a bus from Hanoi to the southern provinces. At this time, the bus had gone to Binh Thuan province, Bac Giang Provincial Police asked the Binh Thuan Provincial Police to coordinate in impounding the car and 5 nieces.

On June 1, the Yen Dung District Police Task Force urgently moved to Binh Thuan. The working group correctly identified the victims. Working with Binh Thuan Provincial Police, it is known that this province’s police agency has repeatedly stopped and arrested buses bringing people to Cambodia to work illegally.

When the victims are brought across the border, they will have to work in the manner of being exploited, beaten, mistreated, even forced to break the law, act as prostitutes, etc. If the victims’ relatives and families can be contacted. then they ransom them with a large amount of money or “replace life” with another person.

On June 3, the police agency brought 4 children back to their families, only CAV, Yen Dung District Police contacted and handed over to Yen Bai Provincial Police.

Talking to the police, NTQA and DTMN recounted the process of being cheated: Around the end of May 2022, they went to social networks to look for a job during the summer, then HHL said they found a job. in an industrial park in Viet Yen district, but the rest of the children disagreed.

A few days later, HHL said he was going to work at a pho restaurant in Hanoi, the rest of the children agreed that they would run away from their families to work. During that time, an unknown object, unknown address, using the name on social networks as “Hoa” messaged HHL through the Messenger application promising to find jobs for them in the South.

The condition is that you only need to know how to use a computer and type fluently with a salary of more than 20 million VND/month, if you do well, it can be higher. Believed, the children did not inform their families but left on their own, when they got on the bus, there was a CAV (15 years old, Hmong ethnic group, in Yen Bai province) who was also seduced by the “Hoa” object.

From the above case, Colonel Pham Huu Tuan recommended that families need to strengthen the management and education of their children, especially those at a young age. When you use social networks, make friends with suspicious people, you need to be vigilant. The family and the school firmly grasp the psychological developments, the time of the children, do not let the bad objects take advantage and manipulate.

In the coming time, Yen Dung District Police will continue to investigate and clarify the case and direct the police of communes and townships to step up propaganda and disseminate to the people about tricks and modes of operation of criminals. human trafficking, and promptly prevent this type of crime.
