FTKY is equipped with all existing Daikin air purification features such as Enzyme Blue filter combined with PM2.5 filter. These two layers of filters act as a double protective shield, helping to filter odors, kill viruses, bacteria, mold, allergens and remove fine dust particles.

Notably, FTKY is applied Daikin’s proprietary Streamer technology. Streamer is a device mounted inside the indoor unit of the machine, which releases a stream of highly oxidizing electrons at a speed 1000 times higher than conventional plasma discharges, killing viruses, bacteria, and molds captured on the filter. The filter is based on the plasma discharge mechanism. The Streamer’s decomposition power is equivalent to a heat source at 100,000◦C.
