76% of users have used electronic wallet and card usage rate is even higher, about 82%. After the COVID-19 pandemic, users have had many changes in their spending habits and the rate of using cash is getting lower and lower. This is the result of a recent survey of payment technology company VISA.
According to the same survey, up to 65% of users have reduced the amount of money they carry in their wallet and 32% said they have stopped using cash. All transactions take place on smartphones, which has now become an essential need of people.

At some banks, in the past 2 years, up to 80% of accounts opened online. When the epidemic ended, 40% of their customers still maintained this habit.
Mobile contactless payment – a solution to overcome difficulties in translating then into a habit and now into a necessity of customers. 80% of users have used a card, e-wallet or digital bank at least once a week. Banks and payment organizations should therefore consider digital transformation as a strategic race.
Currently, more than 60% of users have increased the use of contactless payments via smartphones. This number is expected to continue to increase next year.
