Mr. Le Hong Son, Standing Vice Chairman of Hanoi People’s Committee, was assigned to take charge of the City People’s Committee after Mr. Chu Ngoc Anh was dismissed.

Mr. Le Hong Son is 57 years old, has a bachelor’s degree in Law, comes from Hoang Hoa district, Thanh Hoa, used to hold the position of Chief of Office of the Ministry of Justice; Deputy Minister of Justice. Since April 2014, he has been the Vice Chairman of Hanoi City and has been assigned a Standing Vice President from the end of the 2016-2021 term until now.
On the afternoon of June 7, after 100% of the delegates present agreed, the Hanoi People’s Council approved the dismissal of Mr. Chu Ngoc Anh from the position of Chairman of the City People’s Committee.
