Speaking at the opening of the Conference, Minister Nguyen Kim Son said: The school year 2021-2022 takes place in the context of being heavily affected by the COVID-19 epidemic. However, with the efforts and joint efforts of the whole Education sector, and the attention of localities, 63 provinces/cities ended the school year on May 31 for grade 12. This is an important premise. so that we can organize the High School Graduation Exam in 2022 simultaneously across the country on July 7 – 8.

The high school graduation exam in 2022 is basically stable like in 2021. The Ministry of Education and Training is fully responsible for the exam, in charge of general policy issues, and promulgates guiding documents and instructions. and implement the plan to organize the Exam; take responsibility for exam questions; Organizing the inspection and examination of the Exam… The People’s Committees of the provinces and centrally-run cities are fully responsible for the organization of the local exam. Over the years, localities have participated in the contest with a very high sense of responsibility.

On May 27, 2022, the Prime Minister issued a Directive on strengthening the direction and coordination of organizing the high school graduation exam and university enrollment and vocational education in 2022. In this Directive, the Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Education and Training as well as localities to focus highly on preparation and ensure the best exam.

Sharing the above information, emphasizing the early establishment of the Provincial Examination Steering Committee, the Minister at the same time wanted the localities to anticipate all problems, come up with contingency plans to cope with possible situations. occur, such as natural disasters, epidemics… and other problems; anticipating unusual occurrences, especially during the exam organization; ensure the best organization of the contest in the area.

At this time, the COVID-19 epidemic has been controlled. However, according to the minister, the effects of the epidemic are still present. The Ministry of Education and Training has issued guidelines for organizing high school graduation exams in 2022 for candidates affected by the COVID-19 epidemic. The Minister suggested that the leaders of the provinces/cities pay attention and give maximum support to the Departments of Education and Training to perform well in professional stages, helping students to be strong in both knowledge and psychology before entering the semester. exam; interested in supporting candidates in remote and remote areas in travel, transportation, accommodation… Along with that, the Minister also wished that local leaders would pay attention and strengthen inspection and supervision to ensure absolute safety for the stages of exam questions, examination, marking, other related stages… to ensure safety, security and order for the Exam.

On this occasion, the Minister also suggested that leaders of the People’s Committees of the provinces/cities continue to pay attention and direct other grades to complete the school year time plan to ensure quality and progress; care about students during the summer; prepare conditions for the implementation of the new school year 2022 – 2023, especially for grades 3, 7, 10.

Prepare well for the High School Graduation Exam

In the coming time, the Ministry of Education and Training will continue to direct relevant units under the Ministry to coordinate with units of the Ministry of Public Security to prepare well the conditions to carry out work for the Council to issue exam questions. ensure safety and quality. At the same time, continue to improve and upgrade software to support exam management and organization and information technology infrastructure for exam organization.

The Ministry of Education and Training will also organize inspection teams of the National Steering Committee to check the preparation and organization of the exam in the locality. Continue to monitor the preparation of the exam in the localities and direct the organization to organize the exam according to the schedule and plan; ensure that the exam is held safely, seriously, transparently, objectively and with quality. Continue to deploy communication, associated with specific jobs according to the exam organization process.
