Bought an old sofa and found it cluttered inside, the woman was stunned when she zipped it up

According to the New York Post, recently, Ms. Vicky has moved into a new house in San Bernardino, California, USA. Wanting to save money, Ms. Vicky decided to visit the advertising website Craigslist in search of a sofa. There, Ms. Vicky found a sofa that suited her needs and preferences. It was an old white sofa, upholstered in silk fabric, still quite new. The person who posted the ad said that he would give away this sofa for free.

At first, Ms. Vicky didn’t believe it, thinking it was just an advertising gimmick, but when she looked closer, she realized the owner really wanted to give the sofa back.

Ms. Vicky said: “I thought it was a gimmick, then thought I would call them directly. Turns out, the family was giving away a lot of stuff because their loved one had just passed away. I just moved in and didn’t have any furniture in the house yet, so I was delighted and quickly brought the sofa home.”

Miss Vicky could not have imagined that this old sofa could bring her a big surprise. While inspecting and cleaning, Miss Vicky discovered the sofa was cluttered as if there was something inside. At first, she thought it was the heating system, but realized it had no wires. Therefore, Miss Vicky decided to open the zipper, peel the sofa cover to check.

This is a huge amount of money for Miss Vicky, but she refuses to keep it for herself because she knows it doesn’t belong to her. Ms. Vicky immediately contacted the family who sold the sofa to return the full amount. The family was equally shocked and didn’t know why there was so much cash inside the sofa.

To show gratitude for Ms. Vicky’s honesty, this family bought her a new refrigerator and gave her a gift of 2,200 USD (nearly 51 million VND).
