Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Huu Do said that this year’s high school graduation exam regulations have some technical adjustments. One of the new regulations of this year’s high school graduation exam is that items that are not allowed into the exam room of candidates will not be left right outside the exam room like every year, but must be at least 25m away from the exam room.

Explaining this regulation, Deputy Minister Do said that stemming from the recent discovery by the Ministry of Public Security, that there are some high-tech devices that can receive and broadcast within 25m. Therefore, even if the device is left in the hallway, it can still receive and transmit signals in the exam room and pose a risk of revealing the question.

“Therefore, if the object is left outside the hallway, they can still use bluetooth to receive and transmit signals and sounds and potentially reveal the problem,” Mr. Do said.

Mr. Dinh Trung Tuan, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Lai Chau province, said that the arrangement of candidates’ personal items 25m away from the exam room, some test points will be difficult, because of the facilities. Limited.

“For example, if students leave their phones in the trunk of the car, it is also difficult for the control process,” Mr. Tuan said.

Mr. Tran The Cuong, Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, said, “For Hanoi, many test sites cannot arrange enough rooms and conditions to do this. The problem of traveling, especially in rainy or unusual weather conditions, makes traveling very difficult. Not to mention, when leaving personal items so far away from the exam room, after the test is over, it will be easy to get the wrong item, causing difficulties for candidates.

Accordingly, Hanoi proposed to have its own plan but still ensure safety for the exam.

A representative of Thanh Hoa province said that if the Ministry of Education and Training does not have a specific plan, the province proposes to have its own plan to suit the conditions of each exam board. For example, if the location has few exam rooms, it is possible to arrange a place to gather materials and arrange a supervisor.

Also preparing its own plan, the representative of the Steering Committee for the high school graduation exam in Da Nang said that a solution had been found to overcome this difficulty. Accordingly, for exam sites where the distance from the candidate’s place to the test room is not enough 25m, the Department will arrange to borrow neighboring schools to place their items.

Ms. Le Thi Huong, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Quang Tri province, said that the local exam steering committee had calculated and asked the exam boards to prepare boxes for the candidates’ items. These boxes will be gathered at a point 25m away from the exam room, ensuring compliance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

This is also a problem for localities with a large number of candidates such as Ho Chi Minh City. The leader of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training said that this regulation is difficult to implement, because the number of candidates at each test site is very large. If candidates’ items are brought into the concentration rooms, it will be very difficult for them to get their items after the exam, and lose time to prepare for the next exam.

However, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Huu Do emphasized that this is a mandatory requirement to ensure exam safety. According to Mr. Do, this regulation was supplemented by the Ministry according to comments from the police agency.

According to Mr. Do, it is also possible to allow localities to be flexible.

“I think it’s easiest to put items in cardboard boxes as a local offers. At the same time, the Ministry also encourages localities to have a good way,” said Deputy Minister Do.

Also related to the prevention of high-tech equipment fraud, Mr. Dinh Trung Tuan, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Lai Chau province, said that the regulation allows candidates to bring into the exam room recording and recording devices. Pictures without live streaming are not required.

“The candidates mainly focused on the test and did not make audio or video recordings during the test. Candidates’ needs are almost nonexistent, so it can be considered whether there is a need for regulations to allow candidates to bring in such devices,” Mr. Tuan asked in the context of high-tech crime. in the exam more and more.

Responding to this opinion, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Huu Do said that “If it is included but it does not affect anything, it is okay, the problem is that we have to check and control”.
