Following Chi Nhan’s roles on screen, it can be seen that he is not afraid to take on different types of roles, from a single father to a cheater. However, it seems that there has not been a role that makes Chi Nhan become really impressive to the audience. How do you feel about this?

– With each role, when I accept the performance, I always research to find a way to express my own character. I never impose the thought that it is a villain or a good character, but I will try to explain why that character thinks and acts like that in that particular situation and event. I try to exploit to the end the psychology of the character I portray.

For me, the biggest achievement is the mark of my role in the hearts of the audience. I noticed that every time the movies I participated in aired, the audience who met me in real life or interacted on social networks called me Tran Bat, Bach’s father, Linh Gongzi, Minh Khang… and now Uncle. Vu.

All are the names of the characters I played, but the audience forgot my real name, actor Chi Nhan. For me, that is the mark I am recognized by the audience, my great happiness.

Watch movies Ex-husband, ex-wife, ex-lover, The audience can see a Quang Vu with a handsome and cold appearance, but an extremely complex, ambitious interior, good at hiding selfishness and pragmatism. When you read the script, how did you feel about this character?

– The drama has only aired for the first few episodes, just at the stage of giving an overview of the situation and the relationships between the characters in the drama. That’s why, everyone, don’t rush to “take a picture of your face” so that you will be surprised later!

It was the mysterious, attractive, unpredictable character of Vu that made me fall in love with this role. I believe that gradually, as the film progresses, the audience will sympathize and love the character Vu in the film like me.

The audience watching the movie said that Quang Vu and Chi Nhan in real life have many similarities, especially the marriage is not very smooth. Do you feel that Quang Vu has any similarities with himself?

– I am attracted to roles that are completely different from myself. Therefore, Quang Vu and Chi Nhan must have the only similarity that they are both men.

I have always kept my personal life and roles separate. When making movies, I give my best to the character, but when I return to my own life, I will not let the emotions of the role affect me.

How often do you read the audience’s feedback on social media about your role? When you read conflicting comments or comments related to your personal life, how do you feel?

– I read all the comments, shares of people, of the audience on social networks. I am very happy when my role receives the attention of a large audience and everyone loves me and my role.

All of the audience’s shares, suggestions, emotions, even mixed comments are still a positive motivation to help me improve myself, work harder every day to get more and more. so many viewers love, accompany and follow me on my artistic path.

The last movie Chi Nhan participated in was Life and deathuntil the movie Ex-husband, ex-wife, ex-lover he all identified the role as “unlikable”. Many viewers commented that Chi Nhan’s face, eyes, and smile are very suitable for villain roles, is this the image he is aiming for?

– I have no concept of imposing my role as a hero or a villain. I always ask myself the question: “Why in that situation, event, event, the character reacted like that?”. From there, I was able to explain myself and figure out how to express myself from gestures, facial expressions to the most appropriate way to say the word.

When I understand the character, live with the character’s joy, cry with the character’s pain, I can convince the audience to believe in it and empathize with my character.

As for myself, I do not define a specific image for myself in acting, because each character, each person in society always has a different situation and life, no one is exactly the same.

Not only getting points for his handsome face, Chi Nhan also made the audience flutter with the costumes he wore in the movie. Are all the costumes made by you or by a stylist? How much does Chi Nhan invest in his image on film?

– I think that at the present time, when the audience is more and more careful, they not only follow the content of the movie but also carefully observe the character’s shape. That’s why an actor can’t be casual in his style of dress.

I thank the audience for the compliments on my image in the movie. I am fortunate to receive the love and companionship of a Vietnamese fashion brand that has been attached to many artists and actors in recent times.

It was designer Do Tu who personally designed, consulted, and performed the costumes for me in the movie Ex-husband, ex-wife, ex-lover. As soon as I shared about my role and the image of the character I would build, in just 10 days PWD Do Tu and his team quickly finished all the costumes in time for me to shoot the film.

Working with Quynh Nga, La Thanh Huyen, Quynh Trang and Viet Anh, how do you feel about these co-stars?

– I feel very fortunate to be able to work with the cast and crew in the movie. Ex-husband, ex-wife, ex-lover. I am very grateful to everyone for always supporting each other wholeheartedly with the common goal of having a film that is loved, received and watched by a large audience.
