EU forces to remove terrorist content within an hour
The European Union (EU) has announced that it is forcing hosting providers to remove terrorist content from their platforms within an hour of it being flagged by EU authorities.

For companies concerned about undue access from member states, any removal request must include a rationale for the removal and details of how the supplier may object to the removal. . The rules also aim to protect freedom of expression and the right to provide content for educational, journalistic, art or research.
The EU has been organizing workshops for member states and suppliers to help them get ready for the rules that come into effect on June 6. Europol has also created a platform for member states to use to securely send content removal requests to vendors.
