Hi Erik, it is known that you will participate in the “Thank you, Vietnam” music festival organized by VinaPhone in Hanoi? According to our research, this time, you have a lot of musical plans and are very busy. What made you decide to join this program?

After 2 years of being affected by the epidemic, many major programs had to be postponed because of social distancing. Up to now, major music programs have also started to restart. In order to meet the needs of musical life for young people, Erik and other artists have many musical projects about to be implemented. With the “Thank you, Vietnam by VinaPhone” concert in terms of both grandiose scale and methodical organization, the “huge” investment from the Organizing Committee, those things alone have created interest in artists, not just Erik.

In particular, Erik is also very excited about the message of the program. When talking with the organizers (BTC), it is known that this is a program to pay tribute to an extremely optimistic, steadfast and united Vietnam to overcome the “great crisis”, towards a bright future.

Indeed, the past 2 years have been a very special time for the country. Difficult husband difficulty, with artists is no exception. But it is also 2 years that we have witnessed a Vietnam with extraordinary energy, step by step overcome difficulties and losses to get up and rebuild the rhythm of life, production and business and achieve many successes. labour. For example, we have successfully organized the 31st SEA Games with a record number of gold medals for 1 SEA Games… As an artist, Erik also wants to express his gratitude and thanks to a resilient, determined Vietnam. Such force….

It can be said that the “Thank you, Vietnam by VinaPhone” concert is an opportunity for Erik and other artists to voice their sincere gratitude and gratitude. Thank you to the heroes of the fight against the epidemic, including many unsung heroes, thank you to those who have brought glory to the Fatherland.

It is said that this year’s program is very invested in technology. How does this affect your performance?

As everyone knows, Erik belongs to the class of young artists that we often call the Genz generation, a generation that is passionate about discovery, creativity, open-mindedness and not afraid of change. Therefore, I myself am very interested in new technologies.

As an artist, if I say that the stage is my life, the technology on the stage will be the fulcrum for me to take off. Erik feels fortunate to be able to develop his career, it can be said at the right time when theatrical technologies develop rapidly and are the most modern ever. When standing on that stage, with the combination of sound and light, it will create a catalyst that makes it easy for the artist to sublimate. It’s really an environment for me to unleash my creativity and burn with music.

With the “Thank you, Vietnam” concert, BTC really has a great investment in technology. As soon as the organizers shared about the organizational plan, Erik was really interested in creating the stage using 4D mapping technology with 2 layers of shaping, while recreating the image of a vibrant and extremely technological city. modern. Then the highlight is the record mapping ball, up to 10m in diameter… In short, a space filled with technology. Surely, not only Erik but any young person, a Genz would be extremely interested in such a stage. That promises to be a really explosive, exciting and passionate night of Genz music.

Can Erik tell us about the performances that he will bring to the “Thank you, Vietnam” concert and your investment in this performance?

As Erik shared above, the show has created great excitement not only for myself but also for all other artist brothers and sisters because of the message it brings. Therefore, when choosing the songs to perform here, Erik has to think a lot. How to convey the most emotion, the most “quality” Erik, to satisfy the audience’s expectations. Can mention my “hit” songs such as “After all”, “You are not wrong, we are wrong”,… Especially “Nam Quoc Son Ha”, this is a song that is not new but very interesting. meaningful, especially in the present time. Every time he sings this song, Erik himself feels more proud of his homeland, the country, proud of the nation’s history, proud of being Vietnamese…

After deciding, it’s time to practice, invest in choreography, how to match the sound, light and “explode” on a big stage like Thank you, Vietnam. Definitely will not satisfy the expectations of the audience at the event and through the small screen.

The audience is also looking forward to the special exchange part of the show. What about Erik?

This is also a special part of the program that not only the audience, the fans but also Erik are also waiting for. We have the opportunity to look back on the very long and arduous journey of the whole country in the past time, so that we can be more proud of what we have done and proven to the world.

Erik himself, this is also an opportunity to share with the audience and fans his thoughts and musical plans in the future.

Thank you Erik and wish you continued success on the path you have chosen!
