iOS 16 for “variations” and “recalls” of iMessage message content-Information Technology

Starting with iOS 16, Apple will allow users to recall accidentally sent messages by mistake in the Messages messaging app.

According to TechRadar, as part of a keynote at WWDC 2022, Apple announced changes to the Messages app on iPhones running iOS 16.

With the aim of ending embarrassing texting situations, such as sending messages to the wrong person, erroneous content and uncomposed messages were accidentally sent. There will be 3 new features coming to users: Edit (edit message), Undo Send (undo sent message) and mark an unread message.

iOS 16 brings more features to the messaging app.

The edit feature will allow you to correct the content of the message even after pressing send, while the undo will allow you to delete the message that you have accidentally sent. So from now on you will be able to fix common mistakes in texting quickly and easily.

Also another new feature is the ability to mark a conversation as unread, so if you’ve opened a message but then got busy with other things and couldn’t reply, you can set up Set it as unread so you can get a prompt to reply later.

All of the above features will come as part of the update iOS 16 coming for iPhone devices.
