iOS 16 will automatically install security fixes
Apple will deploy a New feature for iOS 16 called Rapid Security Response to allow security fixes to be automatically installed to users’ devices between standard software updates.
Follow Engadget, it’s one of the privacy features Apple announced at WWDC 2022, alongside a feature called Safety Check that lets users quickly see which contacts have access to location and calendar information their. Safety Check will also show users the permissions used by every app on their device.

Report from MacRumors says iOS 16 will add a new section in the Settings app’s Automatic Updates feature called Install System and Data Files. When activated, users can get software fixes that are not tied to a full update, which is automatically installed and users do not need to restart the phone.
This feature is enabled by default when users upgrade to iOS 16so those who don’t want automatic settings will have to turn it off.
In addition to the aforementioned feature, iOS 16 brings a bunch of other new features to the iPhone, including a more customizable lock screen, the ability to edit or recall sent messages on iMessage, and use of Face ID. even when the device is in landscape mode.
The iOS 16 public beta will roll out in July, and it no longer supports the first-generation iPhone 6S, 7 and SE series.
