CKII doctor Le Thanh Chau, head of the Oncology Department, said the surgery took 2.5 hours. After surgery, the patient’s health is stable, eating normally, in good contact, and is being continued to be treated at the Oncology Department of the provincial general hospital.

Going to the doctor, Mrs. T. was advised by her doctor to have surgery, but Ms. T. was not treated, so the tumor grew larger and larger, accompanied by serious ulcers.

Encouraged by her family, she agreed to go to a medical facility for treatment. Hospitalized at the Oncology Department with difficulty moving, exhausted, very large breast tumor, etc. The patient received 3 units of blood before surgery.

The tumor weighs 4.7kg.

Dr. CKII Le Thanh Chau added, it is possible that this is a form of chlorophyll tumor, which has the characteristics of growing very quickly. Phylloblastoma is a rare tumor in the breast, accounting for only 1% of all breast tumors.

According to Dr. Chau, phyllodes tumor tends to grow rapidly, so it needs to be treated early. Phlebitis can occur at any age, but tends to develop in women over the age of 40. If the tumor is large, it will make the body exhausted, lose blood, limit the ability to live, and threaten the patient’s life. Therefore, when a tumor is detected, it must be treated with surgery.
