“This allows ships, once inspected by our military, to enter ports, load grain and, with our help, proceed to international waters,” the spokesman said. Kremlin Dimitry Peskov told reporters during a meeting on June 7.

An estimated 20 million tons of Ukrainian grain was trapped in ports in the Black Sea and Sea of Azov during the conflict, which could increase to 75 million by autumn. The country’s inability to export has put enormous pressure on world food security, causing grain prices to soar.

Faced with that situation, the United Nations has made efforts to negotiate with the authorities of Ukraine and Russia to restart exports and has reached an agreement through the support of the intermediary country, Turkey. Turkey may also provide naval corvettes, escorting grain ship Ukraine safely out of the Black Sea.

Also on June 7, Minister Sergey Shoigu also revealed about a large naval parade that the country is scheduled to hold on July 31 in St. Petersburg, with the participation of 47 warships, gunboats and submarines, according to the TASS news agency.

Other naval parades will also take place at the bases of fleets and navies, as well as at the Mediterranean port of Tartus. A total of 200 warships, 80 aircraft, more than 100 items of combat equipment and more than 15,000 military and civilian personnel of the Russian army will participate in these programs.

The superyacht is accused by the US of being owned by Russian tycoon Suleiman Kerimov, on the US sanctions list related to the Russia-Ukraine conflict. The FBI linked Amadea to the billionaire Kerimov family through their alleged use of teen passwords while on board the train to buy pizza ovens and spa beds.

Attorney Feizal Haniff, who represents the paper’s owner Millemarin Investments, argued that Amadea’s owner was Eduard Khudainatov, another wealthy Russian who was not on the sanctions list; But the FBI pointed out that Mr. Khudainatov was also the owner of the Scheherazade, another superyacht connected to Russian President Vladimir Putin, and questioned whether Mr. Khudainatov could afford to buy the two yachts mentioned above.

Along with many other evidences, the US won the case and received a favorable ruling from Chief Justice Kamal Kumar.

US Justice Department spokesman Anthony Coley wrote on Twitter that the superyacht had sailed for the US “under a new flag”, with thanks to the Fiji police and prosecutors.
