SeABank has a foreign deputy general director

SeABank’s Board of Directors (HoSE: SSB) has a resolution to receive and appoint Mr. Faussier Loic Michel Marc (French nationality) to assume the role of Senior Deputy General Director. The resolution takes effect from June 3.

Previously, he was an independent member of the Board of Directors of SeABank, but has ceased to hold this position since May 26. Instead, he will take on the position of Senior Vice President.

The new Deputy General Director has more than 24 years of experience working in the banking sector, risk management, financial consulting at international financial institutions such as Citibank, HSBC. During the period 2012-2018, he was also associated with VIB as Deputy General Director cum Head of Risk Management Division.

Mr. Marc was born in 1972, graduated with a Master in Finance from Paris Dauphine University – France and a Master in Business Law from the Paris Institute of Politics.

With this appointment, SeABank’s board of directors will have one general director and 10 deputy general directors. Ms. Le Thu Thuy holds the position of General Director and Standing Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors. 10 other Deputy Generals including Ms. Dang Thu Trang, Mr. Hoang Manh

Phu, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Quynh, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Huong, Mr. Nguyen Tan Cuong, Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Thuy, Mr. Vo Long Nhi (Andrew Vo), Mr. Vu Dinh Khoan and Mr. Le Quoc Long hold the standing Deputy General Directors.

In the first quarter of business results, SeABank reported a pre-tax profit of more than VND 1,306 billion, an increase of 87% compared to the same period in 2021, fulfilling 27% of the year’s profit plan. As of March 31, its total assets reached VND 231,222 billion, an increase of 9% compared to the end of 2021. In terms of capital, customer deposits decreased by 3%, to VND 106,116 billion. Total bad debt as of March 31 increased 14% to 2,392 billion VND, bad debt ratio decreased from 1.65% at the beginning of the year to 1.64%.
