Strictly handle Binh Thuan player punching the referee

Exchange with ZingHead of the VFF Arbitration Committee, Mr. Duong Van Hien said: “The arbitration team did the right tasks and expertise. The situation where a player of Binh Thuan team commits a foul deserves a second yellow card. It is unacceptable to assault the referee. The Disciplinary Committee needs to deal with such a player“.

Referee Tran Ngoc Nho’s health was not affected much and continued to control until the end of the match. This arbitrator will make a report and send it to the VFF Arbitration Board. At the same time, the referee supervision and match monitoring also have a record of the incident.

Binh Thuan club, despite being 2-0 down and playing with 10 people, still got it back 2-2. Nguyen Dinh Loi and Thanh Hung, respectively, equalized in the 56th and 77th minutes. The match had to be resolved by a penalty shootout 11 m.

After 8 series of shots, Binh Thuan Club won 8-7 to win one of the two National First Division spots in the 2023 season. Hai Nam Vinh Yen Vinh Phuc Club continued to stay in the Second Division.
